maybe my hasty and poorly staged photography has failed to do justice to the intricacies of my dioramas for our last two release's album art(s). at a certain point, a musician has to decide to be a musician or an album artist.

i'd rather this band be a diamond in the rough than gold foil wrapped over a turd. in reality we are neither of those things, because they are metaphors, and the minutiae of reality transcends the harsh approximations of language. it's similar to how the two-dimensional rendering of photo fails to capture the fullness of its subject in a single frame.
